Revision of 39 species of Scalpellid barnacles from the Natural History Museum are being reviewed. from Thu, 2013-07-04 08:52

<p>The species are now assigned to 17 genera and three subfamilies within the family Scalpellidae, basing mostly on Zevina (1981) monograph.&nbsp; I am updating&nbsp; checklists of published records, type status, sources of supplementary descriptive information, distribution and known depths records.</p>
<p>The new material may be useful for species identification and for any future systematic rearrangement of the scalpellids.</p>
